We contribute to the development of renewable energies

• Our photovoltaic system covers 35% of our energy needs. This means a saving of 55,000 kg of CO? emissions (2022)
• Further measures as part of the current new building: Significant expansion of the existing photovoltaic system and installation of e-charging stations for charging e-vehicles and e-bikes

• The structural expansion of the headquarters in Eschach (under construction) is a long-term and sustainable commitment to the Eschach site

• We are an important partner for industry and have become indispensable in many sectors: icotek systems are used wherever electrical cables, pneumatic or hydraulic hoses or fibre optic cables need to be fed tightly into a machine or control cabinet

We help protect the climate by improving energy efficiency and using resources responsibly

• Conversion to efficient LED lighting in the logistics & order picking area contributes to significant energy savings
• Digitalisation measures can save 67% of previous paper consumption (2022)
• Excellent thermal insulation of the company's buildings favours energy-saving heating
• Our operational waste is systematically collected, sorted and disposed or recycled in an environmentally friendly manner (some of it is returned directly to the materials cycle)
• We use mainly recycled paper packaging, which is 100% recyclable
• We send our packages 100% carbon neutral
• Online meetings and home-office options for employees replace travel-intensive on-site meetings, thus reducing CO? emissions
• We encourage our employees to cycle to work instead of driving. This not only saves resources, but is also good for their health.
• Planned measure in the course of the current new building: installation of an environmentally friendly heat pump system in the new building
• The use of water dispensers with a tap connection has already saved 60,000 bottles (since 2023). As the production, filling and transportation of water bottles is no longer necessary, valuable resources are saved and CO? emissions are reduced.

Contribution to sustainable development from the perspective of our products

• Our products are REACH compliant: The substances contained in our products do not adversely affect human health or the environment
• Our products are RoHS-compliant: The RoHS Directive controls and restricts the use of environmentally harmful substances in electrical and electronic equipment that are difficult to dispose of
• We have a sustainable supply chain: We source around 95% of our goods from from suppliers in the immediate vicinity. This allows us to reduce CO? emissions and minimise our carbon footprint
• icotek is ISO 9001 certified: our customers benefit from consistently high product and service quality as well as a long product and service life
• The use of our products in machines, systems and control cabinets effectively protects them against malfunctions and thus contributes to their maintenance and thus to a long service life and useful life
• Our "LED lighting for industry" product line helps our customers to use energy efficiently
